My supplemental resource list for God's Design Science: Our Weather and Water

Click on the following link for the list of resources I plan to use for our study of God's Design Science: Our Weather and Water. pdf document here . My boys are 4th and 5th grade. Most of the books are also suitable for a younger audience. Ben really likes picture books still, and we always enjoy looking at the different art techniques even in science books -- particularly collage and clay art. I will often read a few books covering the same topic for the sake of review and also because we are all so interested in illustration styles. I will be posting my resources for the other two books in this series as I complete them.

Baroque Composer Study

Here is the resource list for the four Baroque composers we will study this upcoming year. Download the pdf file here . We will study Handel, Vivaldi, and Bach.  We will also listen to music by Monteverdi, Purcell, and Pachelbel (earlier Baroque composers).

Baroque Artist Study

Image
I have compiled a list of resources available to use for our upcoming artist study.  Since we will be covering the Baroque period (1600-1750), I chose four primary artists to study along with a general study of the period.  Ignore the notes I have on the right margins; these indicate whether I own the resource or if I need to borrow it from the library. Download pdf document here.
