Crazy A C Moore Shopping Trip

Image
I went crazy.  A C Moore had their Sizzix ambossing folders on sale -- buy one pack, get one half price.  Each pack comes with two folders! Each pack ended up being $7.07 -- that's $3.54 per folder!  They had gloriously beautiful Basic Grey folders and cool Tim Holtz folders.  I am just giddy.  I also had a $10 rewards certificate. :)  These are the ones I bought. Dearly & Frost  Sugar & Starry Night  Plaid & Snowflakes  Christmas & Thin Ice  Collage & Notebook Bricked & Woodgrain  Powdered Sugar & Snow Globe  Peppermint Twist & Scallops  Evergreen & Snow Diamonds & Snow Cap

Look what I bought today!

New Dollar Studio G Stamps at Michaels! Wooden Ones

Image
Aren't these wooden ones are wonderful?  Such large sentiments -- perfect for cards.  I thought the "be happy," "my life," "lucky me," and "love you, love you, love you" would be perfect for scrapbook layouts as well. I only bought three of the new acrylic stamps.  Oh, and Christmas dollar items were sitting in a cart near the dollar section waiting to be put into bins, so I helped myself to the little Christmas trees.  They will make perfect triangles for banners!  I have way too many Christmas stamps that none of the others were tempting. Oh, and I just realized I never posted my Studio G dollar stamp finds from earlier this summer.  These were all bought at Michaels.

Ahhh, a GREAT www.paperbackswap.com day!

Image
I received the following four books today.  Nathan has already begun reading the Queen Zixi one; this is one of the only L. Frank Baum he hasn't read.  Out of curiosity, I checked today to see how many books I've received from PBS since joining in March 2009.  The number is 391 ! Queen Zixi of IX or the Story of the Magic Cloak (L. Frank Baum) Knights (Usborne Beginners) Just a Few Words, Mr. Lincoln  (Jean Fritz) Explorers Wanted in the Jungle I also received another out-of-print book I ordered, Corvus the Crow from the "Out of the Pond" series by Franklin Russell written in 1972.  This completes my set of the trilogy.  The other two titles are: Lotor the Raccoon , and Datra the Muskrat .

Score!
