Thank You Cards for Customers

Image
We have some very kind and generous customers, so I always make them thank you cards after we receive their Christmas gift.  I also made a sympathy card for one of our customers who lost his wife. I used some very old yellow paper from Michael's which I bought when I first started scrapbooking. I also used scraps from my purple and yellow cardstock folders.  Coloring was done with Derwent watercolor pencils and a damp paintbrush.  Sentiment stamps are Hero Arts and Anna Griffith.  Image stamp is  Inkadinkado "Botanical Script" .

Thank You Card for Piano Teacher

Image
I used my Copic markers for the first time on this card.  I also used paper from  this  digital Fa La La paper pack.  I thought the music notes were appropriate.  Stamp is Hero Arts  "Thank You"  and ribbon is from Michael's.

Christmas Cards We Made Our Customers

Image
My husband owns a lawn maintenance business.  Each year, we make around 70 cards for his customers.  In years past, we've hand-stamped them.  This year, I decided to use my new Silhouette SD.

Birthday card I made for a friend

I have NOT been crafting at all lately, but I did squeeze in a card for a friend.  I cheated, though, and copied a design I saw on the internet from here .

Happy Birthday Card

Image
I had a blast making this birthday card! Image stamp is Paper Trey Ink's 'Turning a New Leaf.' Background stamp is Stampin Up's 'French Script.' The sentiment stamp is actually a mix of two Studio G stamps -- a wooden one and a clear one. I love the label on the new wooden stamp (as pictured), but I wanted the sentiment to be 'Happy Birthday,' so I inked the label portion of the one stamp, stamped the cardstock and trimmed. I then masked another Studio G stamp (a clear one) that had the sentiment surrounded by flourishes (which I didn't want). I masked with simple scotch tape). I then stamped the sentiment onto the cut-out label. I sewed the lace on and covered up messy sewing with a strip of patterned paper. I raised some of the leaves and the sentiment with foam squares (pop dots). Trim, jute, button, pearls and scrap paper are all from my stash. Cardstock base is Paper Trey Ink's 'Aqua Mist."

Happy Birthday, Dad -- Card

I used my Stampin' Up! 'Classic Convertibles' set for the first time on this card.  I heat embossed the the stamped image.  Papers were scraps I had in my scraps file box.  Sentiment was made using my Dymo labeler.
