Book Give-away! Vermeer Mini Hardcover

In honor of all of my Baroque artist preparation this summer, I am hosting a book give-away!



It is hardcover, about 6 inches x 6 inches, with 95 pages.  On the left-hand side of the page is a description of the plate printed on the right-hand side of the page.

Just leave a comment here, and I will randomly pick a winner on Monday, August 30 at midnight EST (our official start date for school).

    Awesome! My older girls started studying Vermeer yesterday, coincidentally! (Yes, we do homeschooling on Saturdays ~ but we usually skip at least one weekday!)

    What a cool giveaway! We've just started our art appreciation studies this summer, and so far we've studied Van Gogh. I'm collecting books and prints now.

    This book looks awesome!
    I have just recently started reading you blog and have very much enjoyed it. I appreciate the resourses you have shared and plan to use several with my children this year I think we are studying the same appeoximate time period.

I bought a styrofoam incubator years ago at a yard sale for $5.00. I finally had a chance to use it when a friend gave us four fertilized eggs. So, I found the box in the garage, dusted it off, set it up and hoped for the best. It worked! For 19 days, I flipped the eggs two-three times each day. On the 20th day, I added water to the extra reservoir and waited. The next day, I noticed a tiny chip off the egg (I learned this is called peeping). Within 24 hours, three eggs (named by the boys Charles, Cheep-Cheep and Peetey) had hatched with little Luna bringing up the rear.
