My first Bento lunch for . . . Ben

I have been sick with strep and some sort of cold, but I finally got around to trying this out today.  The egg mold  didn't work that great, but I read that I needed to use large or extra large eggs, and this egg was rather small.  Other than that, I am quite pleased.

I cut the ham and cheese slices with some vegetable cutters I bought  here and a turtle-shaped Playdough cutter from our Playdough box.  The faux grass was bought here.

It is served in a Dr. Sears Nibble Tray from here.

    Great job on the Bento! I really want to do these for my little guy. So far, he's just two and very fussy...so I'll wait awhile for it. Looks yummy!

I bought a styrofoam incubator years ago at a yard sale for $5.00. I finally had a chance to use it when a friend gave us four fertilized eggs. So, I found the box in the garage, dusted it off, set it up and hoped for the best. It worked! For 19 days, I flipped the eggs two-three times each day. On the 20th day, I added water to the extra reservoir and waited. The next day, I noticed a tiny chip off the egg (I learned this is called peeping).
